It is not so easy to summarize the thought of ibnu arabi in some papers, it will need repetitive writing and deep analyses through all of his main treatises. Is existence (wujud) can be defined? Or not and it is lead some question as such is there something more general than wujud (existence) since definition consider a genus (jins) and fashl (differenciated). Therefore there is no more obviously than wujud (existence) itself.
So, it is very clear when Sabzawari said that wujud is self-evident, in transparent manner but in sometimes have a hidden reality which is difficult to observed.
And any one even a child may know otomatically it is innate but to discover its reality is need deep contemplation.
So it is a task of philosopher to examinize of wujud and to take in to consideration of element and aspect of wujud
Mulla Sadra suggests that this character is almost one of the priori data (al-awwaliyyat). A proof of it is: 1) we divide existence into its different categories, such as the existence of the Necessary Being and the existence of the Contingent Being. The validity of a division depends on the unity of what is being divided. 2) Another proof is that non-existence (‘Adam) is the contradictory of existence. Non-existence is univocal, because there are no distinctions in non-existence. Hence, existence which is the contradictory of non-existence is also univocal. Or else, it would violate the law of contradiction.
